Beta Testing Contest
1. Sponsor
This contest is sponsored by RaspberryFX Inc ("Sponsor"). We operate as a Canadian federal corporation headquartered in Leduc Alberta, Canada. We are regulated by the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) as a Money Services Business, MSB registration number M23705320. We are also registered with the Bank of Canada and subjected to the Retail Payment Activities Act (RPAA).
2. Eligibility
This contest is open to all RaspberryFX app users who have signed up to participate in the RaspberryFX Beta Testing Program except those in the following categories: Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family members, Services provider to the Sponsor and their immediate family members, Any individuals who had signed an agreement with the Sponsors and their immediate family members. In addition, you may only win if you have not previously won any of our previous contests.
3. Contest Period
To be announced on the Beta Testers Slack Community prior to the start of the contest.
4. How to Enter
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Purchase entries and non-purchase have an equal chance of winning. Funding your wallet is also not a criteria to win this contest. Please follow these steps to enter contest:
- Visit the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, search for RaspberryFX app. Download and install the app on your mobile device;
- Once installation is complete, test the features available to you. To leave a feeback, tap Support > Chat with Support > and then select User Feedback. Complete the user feedback form, and hit the Create ticket button;
- Once we receive your feedback, you are automatically entered into the contest. Goodluck!
5. Prize(s)
To be announced on the Beta Testers Slack Community prior to the start of the contest. Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
Winners of the Prize (each “Winner”) will be chosen at random. Skill-testing questions may be required where applicable by law. Your odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winner(s) will be notified by a phone/Whatsapp call on our launch event; if unanswered, an email will be sent within 24 hours (the "time frame") of the Draw Date. Winner(s) will have 5 days to accept the prize. If there is no response from the winner within the time frame, the prize won will be void.
7. Conditions of Participation
By participating, entrants agree to:
- Abide by these Official Rules.
- Accept decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding.
- Allow the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without compensation, unless prohibited by law.
8. Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
This contest is bound by these contest rules and our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Contestants may be disqualified if they have engaged or are engaging in any activity that may damage the reputation of our company or affiliates.
9. Liability Release
By entering, participants release the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising out of participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
10.1. Compliance with Canadian Laws
This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. Québec residents: Any dispute regarding the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. A dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
10.2. Other Applicable Laws
This Contest is subject to all other applicable laws where we operate. Any disputes arising from this Contest shall be governed by the applicable law.
11. Miscellaneous
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify this contest if it cannot be operated as planned due to technical failures, fraud, or other unforeseen events.
